By Stan Alexander

It is with deepest sympathy that we must to say good-by to a dear friend and avid aviation enthusiast, Willard Benedict.  “Willie” left us Wednesday morning October 3, 2001.  In honor of Willies dedication and contributions to aviation and EAA this chapter will have a plaque added to the EAA Aviation Foundation’s Memorial Wall, located behind the EAA Aviation Center in Oshkosh, Wisconsin, to commemorate him.

May the love of God give you peace,
May the love of friends give you comfort,
May the love of a dear one remain in your heart
And give you strength through the difficult days ahead.
