EAA Chapter 145 Meeting:  Saturday October 14, Riverview, about 6:00

This month’s meeting will be our annual picnic in cooperation with the Riverview pilots club.

• The “meeting” will include food, friends, and a bonfire
• Riverview will supply hamburgers, hotdogs, and drinks
• Bring a dish to pass and place settings
• Bring a chair to sit by the fire
• Bring a friend family or anyone interested in aviation
• Activities start around 6:00pm and go until the wood is gone.

Last months meeting was a discussion on the up and coming Light Sport Aircraft (LSA) “revolution”. (see the following notes)

 Meeting was called to order at 7:15 by  Dick Foster with 15 members in attendance and one guest Peter Mellema who joined our chapter this week.

The program was on the frequently asked questions about Sport Pilot.

Progress report from Len Galloway on the P51. He received his first Mod.

out of five and is planing to have a program for us in the near future. This will be powered by a four cylinder Geo engine.

            Bill Willyard suggested we bring in framed pictures of our airplanes to hang around the hanger to dress it up. He is also looking for a volunteer to take over the web page as he is having trouble with his provider.Chuck Garrett also needs someone to take the News Letter as he will be gone this winter. These two jobs should go easy together as the News

Letter is posted in the web page. The news letter info is all set up on a CD and easy to print out using Microsoft Word. Contact Chuck for the newsletter CD. 455-9302.
