New Day and Time for EAA145 Meeting:  FRIDAY JUNE 9, 7:00pm

Program for Friday, June 9, 2006, 7pm, at the EAA hanger, Riverview Airport.

The Chapter program will be in two parts:

First a member discussion on ideas for making some money (think about this and bring your ideas to the meeting).

Second a 30 min historical video “The Tin Goose”.  The rest of the story about Bill Stout and the Ford Tri-motor.

Join us for coffee, desert and hanger flying...see you Friday.

Notes from last month’s meeting, April 8, 2006

Chapter 145 met in the EAA hanger at Riverview airport.  Hugh welcomed everyone and reviewed Chapter activities.  Bill Willard gave a financial report and suggested that the Chapter look into ways of

generating monies to help pay for the hanger activities.

Chuck Helmholdt presented a photo record of his experience in building his own 180HP, Superior XP360 engine.  His family went to Texas and assembled the engine that will power his experimental aircraft.  The Chapter thanks Chuck and family for the interesting presentation.

The progress in RV construction in the EAA hanger was “inspected” by all members ...the consensus excellent workmanship!
