EAA Chapter 145 Meeting: Friday July 14, 7:00pm
Program for Friday, July 14, 2006, 7pm, EAA hanger, Riverview Airport.
The chapter program this month will continue looking at the Ford Tri-motor as a significant element in the development of aviation in the USA. Our resident Tri-motor expert, Ken Fryling will give a detailed presentation of the two-year restoration of the Island Air Ford Tri-motor. This restoration was done at Kal-Aero in Kalamazoo. Ken will walk you through the process of putting a pile of parts back into a flying aircraft. You can see this Tri-motor at the Kalamazoo air Zoo.
Join us for coffee, desert and airplane stuff...see you Friday!

A video program “The Tin Goose” was shown. This presented the story about Bill Stout and the development of the Ford Tri-motor.
It was noted that the members liked the Friday, 7 PM meeting day/time, for the summer months. Also the progress in RV construction in the EAA hanger was “inspected” by chapter members.
