The meeting is 10:00 AM Sat. Feb. 12th at the Riverview back office with coffee and rolls. We have a factory series DVD about the construction of the RV Aircraft.

 The spring trip to work at the Weeks Hanger in Oshkosh is set for April 22 to 24.

 Meeting survey results indicated that Saturday about 10am is the best meeting time.

EAA Chapter Meeting at the Riverview airport. The meeting was called to order by our new president Hugh Eisen at 10:10am. We had 22 people in attendance so we started with an introduction of each member. New business: Bill Willyard has looked into the setting up of a new web page for the chapter. It would be http://www.eaa145.org. The cost to the chapter is $12.95 Reg. Fee and $12.95 a month. This was made a motion to go with by Len Galloway and seconded by Bud Potts, then approved. Bill would like to have info and pictures from members to post. We will also try to have our newsletter on the web by the end of each month with the time and place of our next meeting.

 Our newsletter postage cost is over $300.00 a year. So if you have an e-mail address we could send the newsletter to you that way and save some postage.

Many thanks to Bill for taking on this important task. Suggestions: It was brought up that we should finish up the hanger like Dale’s or Jim’s with a better heat system and get into some real projects. We have two projects setting their now. Should we sell them? Should we work on them? More next month.

Projects: Ken Porritt brought out more parts for his Polber Pixe and after the meeting we went to the hanger to look things over. Chuck Garrett has started making pattern parts (out of paper) for his Sopwith Pup and his plan is to test fly at 80 years old in 2010.  We are looking for program ideas. Any suggestions?  Len Galloway is planing a program for us in the near future. We talked about the Sport Pilot program the questions that aren’t finalized. Young Eagles: Dick Foster has flown over 550 young eagles to date and has invited any old eagles that want to fly to contact him and he will arrange a time.
