EAA Chapter 145 Brunch:  Saturday, December 8 at 10:30am

            CHAPTER 145

 

 

   

The December “meeting” will be a Christmas brunch in the main hanger at Riverview.  EAA145 will be joining with all of our friends at Riverview to celebrate the season.  This is a chance for the whole family to enjoy an activity at Riverview and see that the Christmas Sprit has wings.

 

Here is a check list to be completed before taking off for the brunch:

1.      Date: Saturday, December 8 @ 10:30am

 

2.      Place :  Main hanger at Riverview

 

3.      Bring:  Dish to pass (entrée, beverages, and place service provided)

 

4.      RSVP:  Let Linda know how many plan to attend by Wednesday, 12/5/07

Hugh Eisen called November’s meeting to order at 7pm, at Riverview.  Seventeen members attended and one guest…welcome Don Dykstra.

Progress reports:  Mike is working on his RV-7 instrument panel, Alex has attached the wings on his RV-7, and Russell is welding on his landing gear.

 

Last month’s program was an excellent presentation by Jack Dekkinga.  He gave the background history of how he came about to build an RV-7A.   Jack then showed picture and explained how he build (and rebuilt) the various section of his RV-7A.  After this we went over to the EAA hanger and saw the results of his many hours of careful construction.  All who were there would agree…great job Jack!
